BEHIND THE ARTIST

When I was five years old, I loved painting. My mom decided to sign me up for an art class, and I was so excited. But when it was time to paint, we were told to paint a fruit bowl with a banana — and honestly, I didn’t like it at all haha..

At the same time, it felt like the world was telling me to follow the “right” path: study, get a job, and build a career. And that’s exactly what I did — and still do today.

But something inside me kept pulling me back to art, again and again.

Years later, after becoming a mother myself, I started seeing art differently. Thanks to my children, I’ve found the courage to pick up a paintbrush again, to create, to explore, and maybe even to paint your painting.

Sometimes, the things we loved as children are the very things that lead us back to ourselves
